Idea-Inspiration-Action

How easy it is to love the world sitting by the fourth-floor window on a sunny afternoon, trees and mountain across-the-valley breeze, green peace of mind, a little high on weed and life. Groovy beats in the background, people walking by. Savoring a couple rich bits of chocolate, and coffee freshly brewed. Thoughts walk slowly between prospects of pleasure, pausing on an idea here, another there. Dreams of building business success, lifestyle and living choices. This buzz, both a monkey on my back and my favorite vice for over ten years. Contemplative, don't rush it. Meditate in movement or rest in reflection, changes concentration and attention.
Is there something between the inspiration of idea and the joy of movement? Something more similar than different, tying them together. Perhaps motion is simply the translation of an idea from the dimension of thought to the dimension of action. And if ideas may be inspired, perhaps action becomes effortless when it is the expression of such an idea. It becomes as natural as breathing, in and out, movement and stillness. Doing without resisting, just being there for the experience, taking joy in what is being created.

... A little followup on that post I just published: found an interesting thought in an article on Steve Pavlina's blog http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2007/02/polarity/

"Contrary to popular belief, an intense emotion like passion does not fuel or motivate activity. Passion is not the real source of drive and motivation. Passion itself is a byproduct of high thought energy. The reason you see passion and motivated action together is that they’re both outcomes of the flow of thought energy. Without thought energy, there is no passion, no activity, and no manifesting."
